ever wonder what its like to sleep in a hospital waiting room for 5 days?
wonder no more.
its not fun.
and i wouldnt recommend you put it on your "things to do in life" list.

for those who dont know, cosmo wrecked on his snowboard about 3 weeks ago and broke his left hip. they didnt replace it because he is so young and they hoped it would heal on its own after they went in and did surgery and cleaned up all the shattered bone fragments and put it back into place.
its been an interesting past couple weeks...

this was when i first got there. I was in mesa when it happened, but our good friend josie drove me up there (her husband shane was with cosmo snowboarding). i was a little upset, as you can tell by my red nose and puffy eyes. and yes, thats a hamburger in his hands. we smuggled him one in...


after 3 days they decided to try to get him out of bed, but he had to wear this bright yellow "FALL RISK" bracelet and it made me laugh.

after 5 days of sleeping in the waiting room, i started to look like a patient myself.... we were up in sholo, so i couldnt just go home and shower and clean up...


cosmo up and going home!!! you cant really see his brace cuz his hoodie is covering it, but its there.

we just want to thank everyone for all the prayers and all the help with everything. it was more then appreciated.
he's doing well now and even started driving again this weekend.
so yeah... thats about it!!
dont break your hip because it doesnt look fun.
